A wake is an event held after the funeral service to celebrate someone’s life.
You can hire our rooms for as long as you like, you don’t need to put a time limit on. Typically wakes last up to three hours. Whatever your requirements we can host you.
Commonly finger food is served at a wake, this allows guests to mingle and chat about their many fond memories whilst having a bite to eat. We have a number of packages including and afternoon tea option.
We offer gluten free and vegan options.
No, you can wear whatever you like – depending on the wishes of the family.
Usually your funeral director would handle the arrangements for the funeral ceremony itself, following the ceremony it is up to you to decide if you would like to hold an event afterwards, if you would like help with your plans please let us know .
